Nothing compares to the natural beauty and crystalline depth of natural granite. Natural stone, quarried throughout the world, is durable, abrasion-resistant, and heat-resistant. Its strength and longevity make it the right choice for heavily used surfaces indoors and outdoors.
Granite is a porous material that requires sealing to protect it from staining. Most fabricators seal the countertop with a generic sealer when it is installed and recommends that the homeowner reseal the surface at least once a year. The sealer that we use is an exceptionally high quality sealer and we feel confident in offering a 15-year limited food stain warranty. Annual sealing is not necessary, but will not damage the surface if you choose to reseal for added safety.
We provide a large number of stock colors and slabs from which to choose. Cardinal Kitchens and Commercial Surfaces provides the customer the option to actually choose the slab to be used on their individual project. Because stone is nature made, sample colors can vary from slab to slab with great variation. We encourage our customers to be “hands on” and make their selection to guarantee satisfaction. We are pleased to work with the consumer as well as designer or builder for stone selection.
